Waylon Leng
Founder, President, Teacher
My name is Waylon Leng, the founder and president of Neverland Connect, and I am currently a high school student in the United States. I am passionate about languages and culture and love meeting new people.
Since founding Neverland Connect in January 2021, I have spent more than five years teaching Western classics and culture to community members while designing and developing courses in these subjects.
Starting from 2025, I have organized in-person activities for Neverland in both Taiwan and China.
The slogan of Neverland is “The Road to the World.” Through Neverland, I aim to foster cultural exchange and empower young people around the world. My vision is for Neverland to grow into a global community that equips the next generation of student leaders with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. I hope you can join me on this exciting adventure.
Elliana Loh
Vice President, Treasurer, Co-teacher
My name is Elliana, and I am a high school student in Melbourne, Australia. I have been involved with Neverland Connect since the beginning of 2024.
My role has mainly involved co-teaching alongside our founder, Waylon, as well as contributing to the non-profit more broadly - whether that’s through my role as treasurer, helping with fundraising, or posting content for our YouTube and Instagram platforms.
As a student who is passionate about both learning and English, I hope to share my knowledge, support others’ learning, and contribute to a community where young people feel empowered to grow, connect, and create positive change.
Claire Li
Vice President & Secretary
My name is Claire, and I am a university student in Montreal, Canada. I have been involved with Neverland Connect since the beginning of 2021.
My role has mainly involved editing promotional videos and recruiting new members.
As a student who is passionate about both learning and English, I hope to keep using my voice and creativity to help this community grow, encouraging young people to step outside their comfort zones, build genuine connections, and find the confidence to make a real difference.
